Russ Willis has announced that he will be transitioning from the position of Vice President for Administrative Affairs at The University of Southern Mississippi to a role with the University Foundation, effective Feb. 1. Chad Driskell, Executive Assistant to the President for External Affairs, will replace him on an interim basis, while Willis will join the staff of the USM Foundation as Assistant Director for Fundraising Initiatives and Planned Giving.


Setting goals for the New Year is one thing; establishing realistic and measurable ones is quite another.

The Katrina Research Center at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, along with the Mississippi Humanities Council and Gulf Coast artist Lori K. Gordon, announce the premiere exhibition of The Labat Project. Unveiling of the exhibit will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at the Bay St. Louis-Hancock County Library, located at 312 Highway 90 in Bay St. Louis.
