After introducing a fitness center and offering healthier food options at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus, the university’s campus in Long Beach has now been recognized as a Gold-Level Fit-Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association. This designation was awarded to the Southern Miss Gulf Park campus for providing opportunities for employees to live a healthier lifestyle.
