The University of Southern Mississippi’s (USM) Marine Education Center (MEC) received the 2018 Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for its new $16-million facility in Ocean Springs.

 

The award honors new construction projects and specifically those that were built with sustainability at the forefront of the design.

The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) proudly presents the acclaimed musical “Cabaret” November 8-11 at Tatum Theatre on the Hattiesburg campus. Performances are set for Nov. 8, 9, and 10 at 7:30 p.m. as well as Nov. 10 and 11 at 2 p.m.

The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) at The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) will host a tailgate party Saturday, Nov. 3  from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Spirit Park, located between the Thad Cochran Center and the LuckyDay building on the Hattiesburg campus, prior to the USM vs. Marshall University home Conference USA football game.

The University of Southern Mississippi School of Music presents Guest Artist Series featuring the duo Peter Steiner, trombone, and Constanze Hochwartner, piano, on Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Marsh Auditorium on the Hattiesburg campus. This event is free and is open to the public.
