“Psalm for Broken Bones” to Premiere at Katrina Research Center Feb. 28

An example of artwork by Andrés Hill, whose exhibit "Psalm for Broken Bones" will be held at Southern Miss Gulf Coast Feb. 28 - May 3.

The Katrina Research Center at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast will host a premiere featuring the exhibit, “Psalm for Broken Bones: A Compendium” Thursday, Feb. 28 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. on the third floor of the library on the Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

Hill’s “Psalm for Broken Bones” is a fine art exhibit that considers a variety of themes in the human experience. It was created by artist Andrés Hill, who studied and trained under sculptor Arthur Williams and leans heavily toward the production of three-dimensional works. During the premiere, Hill will unveil one of his artworks which will be donated to Southern Miss.
