Black History Month 2017 at USM begins with Cultural Legends Ball Feb. 1

The Afro-American Student Organization (AASO) at The University of Southern Mississippi will kick off the school’s schedule of Black History Month events Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m. with its Cultural Legends Ball at the Thad Cochran Center Ballrooms. All are welcome to attend dressed as a legendary figure in black history or in formal attire, as the AASO celebrates and honors African American legends, black art, and black culture with music and special entertainment.

Incorporating the theme “My Black Is…,” Black History Month at Southern Miss also includes the following events:
