Chi Omega Continues Support of Make-A-Wish with Songfest Nov. 15

Main Content

A sure sign of the upcoming holiday season is the return of Songfest, the annual music celebration hosted by the Epsilon
Delta chapter of Chi Omega Sorority at The University of Southern Mississippi. This year marks the 67th edition of the event, to be held at Reed Green Coliseum on the Hattiesburg campus Thursday, Nov. 15, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

Songfest 2018 will include holiday-themed musical performances, including those by USM Greek Life chapters, along with a silent auction, to support Make-A-Wish Mississippi’s mission to grant wishes to children with terminal or life-threatening illnesses. Last year’s Songfest raised more than $50,000 in support of this effort, and the sorority hopes to exceed that amount at this year’s event.

Founded in 1949, the Epsilon Delta Chapter of Chi Omega Sorority is one of the oldest Greek Life organizations at Southern Miss. For more information about updates about Songfest, visit Chi Omega on Facebook at For information about Make-A-Wish Mississippi, visit
