Children’s Center for Communication and Development Holding I CAN! Run Feb. 17 at Hattiesburg Campus

The Children’s Center for Communication and Development (CCCD) at The University of Southern Mississippi will hold its annual TCC Classic I CAN! Run Saturday, Feb. 17, with the race beginning at 9 a.m. and starting and ending at Pride Field on the Southern Miss Hattiesburg campus. Race-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

The I CAN! Run includes 10K and 5K runs, and a 1-mile fun run for kids, as well as mid-run challenges and a post-run carnival. All proceeds from the race benefit the CCCD. Awards will be given to male and female overall winners, male and female master and grandmaster winners, and male and female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in age groups (12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up).

Founded in 1974, the CCCD provides communicative and developmental transdisciplinary services cost-free to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while educating, training and supporting families, university students and professionals.
