Greek Life Students Hold Online Fundraiser for Town hit by Tornado

Main Content

An online fundraiser to assist those impacted by the tornado that devastated Moore, Okla. in May is being promoted by the Greek Life community at The University of Southern Mississippi.

The Greek Life for Moore Oklahoma $1 Drive is an extension of an effort begun by Southern Miss student David Sliman, a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, through social media to reach out and organize fellow students in support of the town. Sliman was inspired by the assistance provided to Southern Miss following the Feb. 10 tornado that struck the campus and Hattiesburg area.

The fundraiser includes a request for donations of at least $1 or more, as well as help securing additional support by sharing the page and online donation form on Facebook. To learn more and access the page, visit https://www.omegafi.com/apps/chapterdesktop/templates/ugcontributionform_display.php?Code=O6RXCN.
