The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies (IDS) will hold a free, fair housing workshop at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 at the Jackie Dole Sherrill Community Center at 220 West Front St. in Hattiesburg.
The one-and-a-half-hour workshop will focus on fair housing, housing discrimination, the housing rights of individuals, how to file a housing complaint and other fair housing information. Light refreshments will be provided. Workshop materials are available in alternate formats on request.
The workshop is presented by IDS’ Mississippi Fair Housing Initiative Program, through funding provided by the Mississippi Development Authority. BancorpSouth is sponsor of the Hattiesburg workshop.
