Institute for Disability Studies to Hold Free Fair Housing Workshop in Jackson

The University of Southern Mississippi Institute for Disability Studies (IDS) will hold a free fair housing workshop on Tuesday, Apr. 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Warren Hood Building at 200 South President St. in Jackson, Miss.

The 90-minute workshop will focus on fair housing, housing discrimination, the housing rights of individuals, how to file a housing complaint and other fair housing information. Light refreshments will be provided. Workshop materials are available in alternate formats on request. To register for the free workshop, call 601.432.6977.

The workshop is presented by IDS’ Mississippi Fair Housing Initiative Program, through funding provided by the Mississippi Development Authority.
