The annual Mississippi Association of Campus Student Affairs Professionals (MACSAP) conference will be held on The University of Southern Mississippi Hattiesburg campus May 20-21. This year marks the third time Southern Miss has hosted the event, which is the annual conference for student affairs professionals at institutions of higher education across the state.
More than 20 sessions covering a wide variety of issues pertaining to college and university student affairs will be offered at the conference.
“We count it as a privilege to welcome fellow student affairs professionals from across the state to our campus, and look forward to informative presentations and dialogue at our topic sessions,” said Southern Miss Dean of Students Dr. Eddie Holloway.
Attendees will be welcomed by University Provost Dr. Denis Wiesenburg and Hattiesburg mayor Johnny DuPree. The two general sessions will include keynote addresses by Dr. Frances Lucas, vice president and campus executive officer for Southern Miss Gulf Coast, and Dr. Eric Clark, executive director of the Mississippi State Board for Community and Junior Colleges.
