Castillo was invited by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, California Food Policy Advocates Group and the Urban & Environmental Policy Institute to lead the seminar. The webinar was presented to approximately 400 participants from across the country.
Participants were also given a preview of the upcoming research-based NFSMI Marketing Resource Guide that will be available on the Institute’s website (www.nfsmi.org) this summer.

She shared information about how the NFSMI, ARD unit conducts applies research projects, develops resources for child nutrition programs across the United States and supports other divisions of the Institute at the University of Mississippi.
