Southern Miss VP Frances Lucas Explores Logistics, Trade, Transportation Opportunities in Panama

Dr. Frances Lucas, left, vice president and campus executive officer at The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast, and Dr. Tulio Sulbaran, right, director of the Southern Miss Center for Logistics, Trade and Transportation (CLTT), meet with Dr. Albert White, director of logistics and transportation at the Chamber of Commerce for Industry and Agriculture of Panama.

Lucas joined students and faculty in the study abroad program in Panama last week to explore additional opportunities for the university, which include internship opportunities for students, expansion of CLTT and meetings with representatives from Panamanian universities. Southern Miss Panama Study Abroad participants are visiting a variety of business, industry and community sectors throughout the Central American country.
