Students Honored at Annual Awards Ceremony on Hattiesburg Campus

The University of Southern Mississippi celebrated outstanding achievements by its students in the areas of academics, leadership and service April 11 during the school’s annual Student Awards Ceremony at Bennett Auditorium on the Hattiesburg campus. President Rodney D. Bennett, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Steven Moser, and Vice President for Student Affairs and Vice Provost Thomas Burke were on hand for the event to present awards and congratulate students on their accomplishments.  

Student honorees and their recognition/awards include the following:

Student Government Association (SGA) officers for 2018-19 were also sworn in at the event, including McKenna Stone, president; Corai Jackson, vice president; Katie Rogers, election commissioner; Lauren Hunter Gaudet, attorney general; and Matthew Keller, treasurer.
