Yenduri Contributions Acknowledged in Computer Programming Textbook

Dr. Sumanth Yenduri, associate professor of computer science, was acknowledged for his contributions to the 10th edition of the textbook, “Concepts of Programming Languages,” by Robert W. Sebesta.

The textbook, prominently used in computer science education, is described as an introduction “to the main constructs of contemporary programming languages and provides the tools needed to critically evaluate existing and future programming languages.”

Yenduri, who earned both his doctoral and master’s degrees from Louisiana State University, has research interests that include programming languages, scientific visualization and wireless sensor networks.
