More than 350 high school students are expected to participate in the kickoff event for The University of Southern Mississippi’s 2016 Southern Entrepreneurship Program (SEP) on Thursday, Nov. 3 in Jackson.

 

Select faculty at The University of Southern Mississippi are currently participating in a national development initiative designed to dramatically expand the use of evidence-based teaching practices shown to promote college student completion and success.

Marketing students at The University of Southern Mississippi were treated to special presentations by Rich Pascoe, CEO of Apricus BioSciences, Inc., and Patrick Daly, CEO of Cohera Medical, Inc., to kick off the Inspired Leaders Series on Sept. 29.

The College of Business at The University of Southern Mississippi has invited two successful CEOs to offer their insights about leadership as part of the Inspired Leaders series which kicks off at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 in Scianna Hall’s McDonnell Auditorium.

Hannah Cole’s passion for interior design provided the impetus for an unexpected, life-changing experience this summer as an intern with global architectural firm Gensler in New York City.

The Human Resource Management B.S.B.A. program at The University of Southern Mississippi has achieved an important distinction by renewing alignment of its curriculum with the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates.

 

In an ongoing effort to promote academic excellence for its students, faculty and staff, The University of Southern Mississippi celebrated the groundbreaking for the future Gulf Park Business and Health Building, Monday, May 23, on the University’s Gulf Park campus in Long Beach.

 

The new project will provide for a two-story, 25,000-square-foot academic facility that will house the University’s Gulf Park operations for the colleges of Business and Health.
