Cartoonist to speak at University Forum

Program examines cultural stereotypes
WHERE:R.C. Union Building Room B.
EVENT:As part of Black History Month activities, this program titled “Stereotypes: Sentenced to Death” includes a discussion focused on dispelling and destroying stereotypes of cultures with emphasis on the African American race. For information call 601-266-4491.

Annual PRISM concert planned
WHERE:Thad Cochran Center ballroom.
EVENT:The third annual PRISM concert will feature a variety of music provided by several university ensembles rotating around various stages in the ballroom. For information call 601-266-5418.
Sex in the Dark event scheduled
WHERE:R.C. Cook Union Building Room B.
EVENT:Sponsored by Student Health Services, this program is designed to help students understand the dangers of unprotected sex. Part of the fun will include a fashion show in which students model outfits made out of condoms. For information call 601-266-5266.
Red Cross Humanitarian Dinner set
WHERE:Trent Lott Center.
EVENT:This event is sponsored by the Students for Human Rights, a student-run organization on the Southern Miss campus. Marl Smith, chief executive officer of the Mississippi Red Cross will deliver the keynote address. For information call 601-266-8151.

Baseball Fan Day scheduled
